Derby School Board met and approved a mentoring partnership with Prime Fit, teletherapy via VocoVision, and a new 70/30 SRO pay split agreement with the county. A $154M budget draft was shared. Unclaimed funds request for $1,175 was also approved.

The Derby school board approved funding for a student trip, SRO (School Resource Officers) funding, and HR changes. Updates included chronic absenteeism (17%), $2M in grants, mental health tracking, and a new tractor. The board also discussed staff retention, truancy, and the 5-year strategic plan.
