The Haysville Planning Commission is made up of Engineers, entrepreneurs, educators, and a 5th-generation orchardist met on July 10. During the 7-minute meeting, the commission unanimously approved a final plat for a new home build near 87th Street and West.

The Planning Commission reconsidered a zoning change from single-family to multi-family housing, which was approved. A variance to reduce the dwelling size from 600 to 400 sq. ft. was also approved despite staff’s concerns. Text amendments on zoning and floodplains were reviewed.
